Vision for Education – Manchester
Vision for Education Manchester is seeking to appoint a Year 2 Teacher (KS1) to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local primary school in Central Oldham. This is a part-time primary teaching role, covering a Year 2 class which will commence in September 2020 and will continue for two terms. The sucessful teacher will be required to work Monday- Thursday, 8:30 – 4pm.
The desired Year 2 Teacher (KS1) will be working in a size class of 30 pupils, with a wide range of ability levels. This role would be suitable for experienced teachers only and the school would ideally like someone with Key Stage 1 (KS1) experience, who has recently taught in a Year 2 class. The successful Key Stage 1 (KS1) teacher would be expected to plan challenging and engaging lessons and build upon the current curriculum to ensure all children progressed their learning. For the right candidate, the position could continue for longer than the initial two terms. Full time working hours will be 8am – 4pm Monday to Thursday.
This is a larger than average sized primary school is at the heart of it’s community and parents are welcomed to be true partners of their children’s learning journey. The school is ran but a caring and supportive Headteacher and senior leadership and pupil and staff development is a key driver in the success of the school.
To be considered for the position of Year 2 (KS1) Teacher, you will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Have experience teaching primary education at a Key Stage 1 level, ideally within a Year 2 classroom.
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of primary Teachers.
Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
